Latest news about Global X Robotics & Artificial Intelligence ETF

Nvidia (NVDA) missed earnings estimates and forecast a sharp drop in revenues for the current quarter due to a slowdown in PC and gaming sales.

According to our estimates for 2030, propelled by AI software, total IT spend could increase 20% at an annual rate and surpass $20 trillion, which is four times the ~$5 trillion consensus estimate. Anticipating more than a doubling in productivity, companies are likely to purchase AI software at a 75% discount to the boost in worker productivity.

With its exposure to high valuation IT and industrial stocks, BOTZ has suffered from considerable downside from the start of this year. Its exposure to NVIDIA has been particularly detrimental in terms of volatility.

Rising consumer prices amid rampant global inflation apparently didn't stop spending on robotics in North America. Sales were up 28% compared to the same quarter a year ago.

Nvidia is expected to come up with an earnings beat in its Q1 report.
